Showcase your audio/video setup here!......

On the BluRay it does not play normal TRUHD when files are played via USB. It does not have a bit stream option, only AUTO or PCM. PCM is always 2 channel audio unless AAC 5.1 is played. On the ASUS Media player there is an option to send the signal via bitstream even over HDMI. That is why probably the signal does not get to AVR without being detected.

Thanks,
Rajiv
Then there is no question of Atmos. It is a superset of truehd.

Thanks everyone for the support and inspiration.

I have 3 modest setups.....

Absolutely some of the aesthetic and tasteful set-ups i have seen. Each one of them is so elegantly set-up. Would be great if you could list the components for those of us who don't know them.

Hi guys this is my current set up. Have tried to maximise whatever little space i have. Considering the paucity of space in mumbai. I had earlier posted it in another member's thread by mistake.
cheers!

Anand - What an awesome set-up :) very well done. I sure a lot of effort and research must have gone in.

Hello everyone,

I have been a silent lurker for a while. Have posted a few queries now and then but nothing regular. Recently managed to put together a somewhat dedicated audio/video room.

1. Speakers - Fronts: Polk TSI 400, Center - Polk CS10, Surrounds: TSX110B, Sub: Polk PSW125
2. Receiver - Denon 1713
3. Display - Epson 2040
4. Source HTPC - core i3 8th gen based PC

I have a few DIY projects that still need to be placed in the room pending a decent enclosure for them, a 128-channel dot matrix audio spectrum analyzer that I made a DIY Hue type strips.

I tried uploading pictures but they seem to be too large. Can someone please tell me what is the size limit? Or should I upload to something like photobucket?

Nitin
