Hi,

Thanks everyone for a great meet.

This meet would not have been the success it was, but for the effort and enthusasim of Capt. and Srini.Though I was part of the organising team it was Capt. and Srini who did the major part of the work . Thanks guys.

We finished the day listening to a pair of power amps almost as old as I am!

Thad, next time around I should have my RCA MI1428 field coil drivers up and running, and we could listen to speakers that are as old as our combined ages.:)

Regards
Rajiv

This is confusing me .... :o can you list all the names in a pic from top to bottom instead? :ohyeah:

PS: What are those small speaker cubes with orange drivers from ProFX?
(Do they also have lemon and pineapple flavor?) :D :licklips:

Hi,

Quote from the Sound &Vision review.

Its a throwback to the LS3/5a, a beloved, BBC-designed minimonitor for which KEF made the drivers.

We were able to listen to the LS3/5A and the KEF LS50 at the meet.:)

Regards
Rajiv

Hats off to the organizers for an excellent event-the venue, arrangements, formats, and exhibits and enthusiasm were all of a high order. Good opportunity to meet and renew links with like minded people. For me, the standout room was the one with the valve equipment, and I hope we can have them over to Bangalore sometime soon to demo their equipment. Their 6L6 amp combined with Capt Rajesh's Cadence was an excellent combo.

Well worth the time and money spent going to Madras for the meet.

Hi gobble,

They are LS50 BS speakers, from KEF
Sounded amazing,

N.Murali

Hi,

Rajiv

These two speakers ^ were my favourites from yesterday's meet and were listened to for the longest time. We were fortunate to listen to the legendary combo Spendor LS3/5A (Naseer's) with QuadII monoblocks (Rajiv's).

It was nice meeting Prashant from Genelec who took time to educate a few of us about active speakers in general and Genelec in particular. In all the action, I somehow missed listening to the Genelec mini monitors though :(

Dear SRINI / Capt / n.murali/

Great effort from Srini, Capt Rajesh and Rajiv.
Had a wonderfull time listening to various Speakers, with different set of amps.

Those tube amps were amazing really.!!!

Thanks to Sponsors and organising team.

There are different models, and priced differently. If you can be patient we will have them over in Bangalore for a demo, in the not too distant future. If you can't wait, PM baiju chacko of Analogue Labs, he is on this forum.

Many thanks to the organizing team.

Even My favorite was KEF LS50, Thanks to Profx guy for playing the songs I took in pen drive even at lunch time.

Analog AudioLabs (Dared) Tube Amps were very good. Thanks to grubyhalo for selecting tracks for Tube Demo, It was really very nice with Cadence speakers.

Overall wonderful experience as it was my first HFV meet.

Thanks once again to Capt. Rajesh, Rajiv , Murali and Srini for organizing this meet.
