The King of Pop MJ passes away

well i don't like name calling either, but i can tell u this i taught quite a lot before i posted it,but at that moment i taught his post deserved a response like mine.
since without proofs and even with the law finding him not guilty, without knowing the facts ,that person makes such disrespectful comments about a music legend, that too on they he died.

if MJ realy had done those things to the kids, will any parent accept a out of court settlement in $$$,i don't think so.

An out of court settlement is generally made if the suing party does not think that his case is iron clad. So, there is some room for casting aspersions on the legitimacy of such cases. But then individuals will be individuals.

I do understand that Jackson could be your favourite star and you could be emotionally attached to the person. Just requesting you to tone down the posts a wee bit so that the post focuses on the subject or a post rather than a poster. Thanks

I agree with Vortex here. MJ was a pop legend and I grew up listening to many of his songs, from tapes to CDs (I saved for a long time to buy the History CD set). However, unfortunately Jackson made a mess of his personal life towards the latter half and has been accused of many things which are difficult to ignore or forget, or forgive.

Maybe his only crime was that he was a misunderstood recluse who really did love children and wanted to remain one himself. But when someone is accused of something repeatedly, there is some room for suspicion and then people do tend to cast some amount of doubt on character.

The point is, in any thread like this which discusses such persona, there will (and should) be discussions on both, the musical talent as well as the humane side of that person. Human beings are not an isolated case study of one facet of their personality. Michael's life (and his idiosyncracies) contributed as much to his music and it's nuances, as did his dancing and his enormous talent.

I did not hear anyone complaining about discussing the Ustad's personal life (in another thread) because I guess, no one said anything bad about him. We have to learn to look at the complete person and take both good and bad and try to learn from their successes and mistakes.

Hi All....I am sorry about joining in little late. I have been huge fan on MJ from a very young age. His passing away has been a huge personal loss for me and I have been totally devasted with this news. More so beacuse I was going to catch him Live at London O2 in Sept. That was the biggest dream of my life which remains unfullfilled. The world is never going to see his likes again. I feel proud that I was born in his era...where I could experience his magic, music his world. This was escapism at its best ..I will miss him everyday. To call him an icon or a legend I feel doesnt still do justice to the maginitude of his talent to me his is much more beyond.

At the same time, I am really disgusted to see some extremely negative posts here and people passing judgements. Show some respect man. If you have nothing positve to add then just STFU. Have some dignity and respect for someone who has just passed away.

HI
Why pickup only MJ. There are lot of pop/rock stars who did wrong things. And may be there are lots of other who got away doing it. MJ was an artist. He entertained the whole world.
The issue here is should we mix up creative work and personal life of that cretive person? We should adapt our selves to separate creative work from personal things. High Creativity is god gift. MJ was only the medium his work is creation.

My favourite songs in particular order
Billie jean
leave me alone
dont stop till you get enough
Beat it
Human Nature
Man in the mirror
stranger in moscow (good video)

My tribute to him
Though I am not great fan of him. I switch channel when they start showing controversis surrounding his death on TV

exactly ,that is why i stand by my response.

there are lots of reasons, some one sues a person.one of them the reasons are for greed.if some one here had watched top gear season 9 episode 3 ,jermmy clarkson went to the USA in the show they are supposed to buy a car for $1000 and meet the challenges.the last challenge was to sell the car back ,jermmy car was a camaro bought for $800,but when they did go to the destination of the challenge ,which was the place where hurricane katrina left its mark,so they taught rather then selling the cars ,they will donate it for free ,which he did.when he came back to the UK,he got a call from the lawyer of the person who recieved the car, saying they are going to sue jermmy clarkson, because jermmy clarkson told the person who recieved the car for free ,that it was a 1991 camaro, but when checked it turned out to be 1989 camaro, but the lawyer said they can drop the charges if jermmy was willing to pay $20000 in cash, for a car that is worth $800 given for free.

Hi

Few pointers towards MJ's cause of death.

Proabale cause : cardiac arrest secondary to drug overdosage

Drugs used : Prescription drugs ( i.e "legal" ones)

Apparently, MJ was a prescrep drug junkie , pumping himself with drug cocktails daily.

Drugs he used daily ( and on day of demise) :

Demerol
Oxycontonin
(these are narcotic or morphine -analogues)
Zoloft
(anti-depressant)
Paxil
(anti-anxiety)

A fatal dose of demerol was injected to him on that day leading to cardiac standstill.

Cause of Drug dependance : Growing Debt to the tune of 900 crores rupees.
Anxiety if could perform again at London and elsewhere.

Hmm.... these seems general picture with corrections and confirmations coming in.

RIP MJ.

Other celeberities died of prescription over-dosage :
  • Marilyn Monroe
  • Anna Nicole Smith
  • Heath Ledger ( Joker of Dark Knight)
  • Chet Baker (famous jazz artist)
  • Jimi Hendrix
and so on...

It is a price they pay for the fame, it seems.

Further details of MJ's death :

His autopsy revealed :

- totally emaciated boney body
- no food in stomach : only undigested pills(apparently MJ had stopped taking meals and used to take one small random meal a day)
- Multiple needle injuries on arms, thighs from repeated injections
- Hairs all gone; was almost bald (side-effect of drugs and undernutrition)
- Ribs fractured during the CPR and first aid.

The point is he was surrounded by specialists since last many years...

why did these doctors allow the drugs
why didn't they stop him/cure his detiorating health
who gave him his last fatal injection

A really sad end to a icon.....

Elvis Priesley also died in similar circumstances.....
he was fat, bloated, drug-ridden and died on his toilet seat.

Who cares..

You sound like a retard to me. Not sure what your context is for giving this example. Stop passing judgement about people dude, anyone is innocent until proven guilty by the law. The first case against MJ was settled out of court, and it was dads kid who wanted out of court settlement. He knew he could make tons of money here. Ask yourself dude if ur kid was molested would you accept money and keep quiet or would you make sure the guilty are brought to book. Think for a second. I know lot of people think that he payed 20 million nad got off the hook. I would call them ignorant.

Second case was thown out of the court on all counts, it was basically about a gold digger mom who saw MJ as a target.

MJ was at the top of one of the most competitive professions in the world for a very long time. He had more actual talent than a combined 30 of the assclowns that pass themselves off as "musical artists" nowadays. And he managed to do this while being continually crushed under the limelight of celebrity since he was 5 years old (think about how many child stars actually amount to something once they grow up). He had his demons, but he did a hell of a lot more with his life than most people do.

Look who's passing judgement here!!
Learn to be a little polite. I am sure MJ would have liked polite fans;)

Point taken. I dont know how to explain it to you it just affects me a lot when I hear people make comments about MJ, I cant begin to explain the void I feel by his passing. Am old enough to understand how to be polite. Its a huge personal loss for me and just when you think MJ is gone from all the hatred and accusation and happy in a place where he is loved, you come across these opinions.

If you lost a close family member and someone came and said they should rot in hell. how would you feel. Will you be polite. Why dont you ask the people hurling allegations and passing judgements about a deceased gentle soul to be polite. I dont want to get into an argument, its pointless.

I am just sad and hurt.

Hey Adder ...I am extremely sorry. I didnt mean to quote you. I did that by mistake. I intended to quote do that for someone called doors. whoever that is. Sorry brother I went back through your posts and realised that you were speaking for MJ. SO SO SORRY.

I somehow have a different opinion of MJ. He was a bad human being, paedophile and child molester, black guy so sick of his blackness that he tried to become white and in the end just lost his own identity. I have no respect for him. He was also a bad musician, just knew dancing... Good riddance, rot in Hell MJ.

Ignorant soul. I hope you loose someone close to you and I would wish they rot in hell. I really wish that. You truly are a disgusting looser.

Many MJ fans here maybe feeling the same way about this loss as you do. It's not right to call names to another mourner even without understanding his feelings or what he's saying...

I was the first to reply to this thread and saying that now that he's no more, let's remember all the good things he has done/ achieved.

But we will always come across the odd ones passing some stupid remarks. Best is to just ignore them rather than replying & glorifying their worthless posts.

Thanks for your understanding bro. You are right we should just ignore the stupid remarks. But I did fire a hate salvo just now. Oops.

Dude, is that what you've been taught, give respect to dead people, and wish for alive people to die. You're more disgusting than me and MJ put together.

Dont curse people under the disguise of grief. Lots of my favourite musicians have also died, syd barrett, jimi hendrix, jim morrison, rick wright..... people also call them names, drug addicts and what not, I dont go on cursing them.

grow up, get a real life, a musician dying is not end all....

Alright guys - ease up both of you. Some people love MJ and some hate him. Each to their opinion. The only thing MJ did was to leave with such emotions for us all who have listened to him. No need to get personal.

I love his songs and moves but I don't necessarily like him as a person towards the end for what he did or the media portrayed as such. It a case of not having a normal childhood - he was a star since 6.

I agree, and I had decided not to post anything on this thread. I had also apologized for the bad timing of my post. But this kind of personal attacks cursing my family members and kids to death and hell is just unacceptable.

OK, back to normal, wont post on this thread, unless there is a personal attack, in which case I will be forced to defend myself.
