Vinyl I am listening to...

Hi folks. I have just acquired a brand new Grado Prestige Black 3 magnetic Cartridge. Before I fit it on my old Project Debut III with aluminium arm and AC Syncronous motor, I would like to know from our vinyl enthusiasts ( that’s why posting here) whether it is suitable for the Aluminium arm and will it pick up hum. Fitting a cart on a Project TT is a delicate process and I have broken a clip earlier. So would like your views. If not suitable, will have to let it go.Thanks.

Back home from the sounds of birds twittering and cicadas chirring and had to give it my first spin of the year. Cheers all and much vinyl happies in 2026!

One of my favourite bands ever. Hard to imagine how they felt they never were able to nail their sound in studio - gigs apparently felt just right to them but they were never able to replicate it. Sad no quality live recordings exist.

Rod’s last album before he famously ‘plumbed the depths of disco’ - rather great album with tracks that have ended up being part of a any definitive collection (Hot Legs, Youre in my heart, I was only Joking). Foot Loose and Fancy Free, 1977, Warner, JapanIMG_8700.jpeg
