You probably could use the record out to connect the subwoofer and dial in the crossover point to adjust low frequency.

Record out will not work as you will not have any volume control available with it. If you have Pre Out on the amp then take it to the 'Input' on the sub and then connect the speakers to the 'Output' ports.

You can connect an active sub to the 5005 since it has A+B option.
There are some other threads here which describe this in detail.
Btw, did your dac come with 3 pin plug with ground or just two pin?

Yes 5005 has A+B speakers option. However currently I bi wired my rti a3. The DAC has 2 pin plug.

But my sub has RCAs input and output in its back whereas the 5005 has wire connectors for speaker. I mean I'm confused what and how to do
