before you wonder 'what the heck!', pls note that this has nothing to do with water!
the older model sonus faber concerto and concertino with biwire option, had very fragile plastic mounts for the binding posts - which inevitably cracked for many people. mine too is cracked.
today i came upon a concertino, whose owner had fixed this by using washers along with the screws.
see the third and fourth photos on this ebay listing :
Sonus Faber Concertino Loudspeakers *Pre-owned* | eBay
the washers are the round things along with the screws on the four corners of the plastic plate which houses the binding posts.
appreciate it if somebody could suggest where i could get similar washers. whether i should go in for metal, plastic, rubber washers etc.
