Has anyone bought the Wharfedale PowerCube SPC-10 vide the group buy offer? Any feedback/reviews about it? I'm interested in buying a Sub to go with my Dali Ikon 6/Vokal 2. Budged is 25-40k..Any other recommendations?
Thanks n brgds,
Gaurav

If you can increase your budget little more you can get SVS (PB12-NSD/PC12-NSD/SB12-NSD).

You won't regret your decision

Thanks for the reply...I'm open to extending my budget....My use is 60%music(english rock-retro) and 40% movies...
1)Which Sub do u suggest I shd go for and whats the approx price?
2) Also where can I buy in Mumbai? Is it more feasible to order online thru Aramex/Borderlinx, etc?
Thanks again.
Warm regards,
Gaurav.

Klipsch subs have major quality control issues and amps going kaput in 6 months are reported in klipsch forums. You have a very decent budget if you can stretch a bit more , you can get SVS subs. Close to 40k I would recommend the CHT series in velodyne.

PB12 and PC12 offers good bass.
PB12 is front firing, front ported and requires more space on the floor compared to PC12 which is down firing and top ported.

SB12 is sealed and little less powerful compared to other two, but more accurate for music. I suggest SB12 if your usage is 60% music.

Audire (Coimbatore) is a dealer for SVS for long time.
I received a quote from them 6 months back
SB12 - 46k
PC12 - 55k
PB12 was not available at that time hence I didn't get the price - may be around 60k

I saw in the forum someone mentioning that there is a new dealer in Bangalore for SVS.

Importing Sub is risky, if something goes wrong. You will have to spend on sending it to US.
Or you will have to try local repair options, they may not be able to repair in some cases - again risky, warranty will be void
