where to buy crossover components in Bangalore

Could somebody sug gest me a place at Bangalore where i can buy capacitors and resistors for cross over network .

I bought wire wound resistors recently on SP Road,the shop is on the left not very far down from where you enter.

Capacitor (bipolar) and Wirewound resistors are available in SP road. But you will have a problem in getting air core inductors which are required for crossovers. One needs to wind them patiently.

Finding DC capacitors is a problem. I was looking for 20mFD and had tough time finding one - checked atleast 15 shops and finally borrowed from a friend thinking I will import. Then one day, I found EPCOS make 10mFD and 20mFD in a shop when I had actually gone to buy resistors. I think shop was called Kanchan electronics. I can PM you directions if you want. What values are you looking for?

I am told you could also try capacitors used for running motor-pumps. Look for motor-run and not motor-start.

you can check kanchan, keltronix, amar radio, vishal etc on SP road. for caps, you wont get polypro, but you can get polyster caps, other wise NPE is always there.
