Hi
I am trying to build DAC with raspberry pi. I narrowed down Wolfson OR Cirrus logic audio card :: http://www.hi-fiworld.co.uk/index.php/internet-audio/780.html?start=5
Reason: Has SPDIF input and output as well. which would let this to connect to CD player and also to external another DAC.
My question Documentation mentioned of WM5102 audio CODEC Chip. Does this chip means DAC chip? How its rated? Anyone used these cards to build hat type and how is experience? in above mentioned link, its review conclusion is good.
