Yamaha RXV 1900 remote not working - Need help

Hi
I hv Yamaha RX V1900 AVR. It has two remote 1) small and 2) bigger. I got this from singapore sometime back..

Now for last few days, the bigger remote commands are recognised by the AVR.. at all... Although small one works but it has very limited functionality.
The model number for bigger remote is RAV385.

I thought it was battery issue and I changed the batteries and still it is not working. I tried thro all source modes (AMP and Source).. still of no avail.

Any suggestions how to fix this up?

You can buy a logitech universal remote control and program it.
