Yamaha products purchased from retailers other than Yamaha Authorized Dealers ( Via the internet or otherwise) will NOT be covered by Yamaha's Warranties and Yamaha Authorized Service Centers will not repair such products under warranty.

I want little help from you guys. I am buying home theater but at relaince store only two are available which is very confusing me. One is Yamaha YHT-299 demo unit with price of Ra. 20150 and other one is Yamaha YHT-1840 with price of Rs. 28000 but it is sealed pack. The crackling sound starts on yht-299 above than 6 Db volume. I do not know it is normal or some problem. Please help me.

Crackling sound is not a good sign on any amplifier.
