1942 a love story vinyl is truly outstanding bought it recently fron ngh online. Probably the reason is partly attributed to the fact that although it is marketed by saregama (hmv) but the pressing is german! I was surprised to see this when I found it printed on the cover. Also same pressing is Dil To Pagal Hai which I already had but realized its presing to be german only recently.

Could anyone Borrow your US\UK friends to me? I dont have any friends in UK\US or even traveling there

Last week I visited to a dealers home for garbing some LP's.Mostly Dire stairs,Phil Collins,Beatles etc the LP seems to be in very immaculate condition and when i asked for the cost i got shocked as they were been asked for 1500 INR and Above(1500 INR is starting price of the LP and it varies according to the LP and some LP would comes to 5000 too). I just walked out stating that "If None is going to pick them, give a call to me for some reasonable prize)

Let me know of any friends which can be borrowed too. There are a couple of collections on ebay I would half kill for but the postal charges are killing :lol:

Hilderbrand yes it was my biggest blind buy till date hyeah: And I have been fighting for time to listen to these amazing collection I have some doubles in this list....Just got new inner covers last week. Have sorted the LP's in alphabetical order and will start the cleaning process in batches in the coming weeks

Wonder who has so much money. One of my friends was telling me just yesterday about an RD Burman song 78 rpm available for sale with a starting bid of a paltry 500 british pounds. I wonder who buys those

Finally bought a copy of Saturday Night Fever (2 LP set) for 400 bucks from Kolkata streets. The cover is in good to fair condition but the LPs have hardly saw the stylus. Spanking new!

Bought a few other titles too - Rocky, Teesri Manzil, Sadak (2 LP set), Saath-Saath, Kalakar. Paid 1400/- for the lot. All LPs in good condition with nice covers.

Bought a few other titles too - Rocky, Teesri Manzil, Sadak (2 LP set), Saath-Saath, Kalakar. Paid 1400/- for the lot. All LPs in good condition with nice covers.

wow. Didn't know Sadak LPs were released. Great find. It has lovely songs. I remember playing (read wearing out ) its cassette in childhood.

Yes brother, Sadak has lovely songs with that typical 90's flavor in it. The pressing is good as well. However, even at Kolkata streets (& with other dealers) LPs like Sadak, Dil Hai ki Manta Nahin, Ashiqui etc. are being priced exorbitantly.
