as suggested by just4kix i activated vcc (e-wallet) and virtual card was created, while paying with this vcc today morning no cvv No was required and now i have received mail from amazon saying payment is declined by bank

Is it an international debit card?

ok...so my axis bank debit card didnt work

so now i am applying for a credit card against fd in axis bank

plz can anyone tell me whether the credit card provided by axis bank is approved by amazon.com

plzzz help

If the credit card is "International", which most are, then it will be accepted by Amazon.

As I had suspected, most debit cards don't work on international e-tailer websites. My ICICI DC is international and it does not work. Some members say that their DCs work - I don't know.

u wont believe this i had used an icici bank debit card of my cousin and amazon had accepted it so i thought mayb the may work but as u had said earlier debit cards are miss or click

UPDATE

got myself an axis bank titanium rewards debit card by paying 560Rs thinking that it would definitely work but my bad luck it didnt work

so 560Rs waste and i guess there is no way to make a debit card work on amazon.com it is only by miss or click policy

I tried Kotak Netcard, some how it didn't work. Also payment couldn't be completed on ebay.com too.

Hi all,

Why don't you open a Paypal account and transact through it. You can also get your money back against any dubious products or dealers.

Just my Rs.2/-

I have it & I linked my net card to it.Only once I could pay ebay.uk. Direct net banking is not allowed by Kotak Bank I think.

Paypal does not work for Amazon, Paypal being a rival company's (Ebay) subsidiary.

Instead of all this trouble, why don't you opt for an international credit card? Have i missed something?
