Best aplifter and cd player to focal chorus 816v

Hello people.. I'm going to buy a new stereo hifi and decided for focal chorus 816v. In my local hifi store they are combined with arcam FMJ A38 and FMJ CD17.. The sound is brilliant and no doubt very good combination, BUT (as allways), price for arcams is also "brilliant" as you can imagine. Maybe you have experience or suggestions what could be less valued but also good performance solution for focal.
