Buy the best panel that you can afford and get an Apple TV if you want the best OS experience. Though on the video quality side I guess the Orginal on built apps on the tvs may be better with minimal tweaks in color setting.

Depending on what your priority is, and your model of tv is. Some tvs native apps may have poor video than Apple TV, some of them may be better. Borrow it and Try it on your tv to see if it is an improvement

I am using lg c2 65inch.. love their webos.. fast bootup and crisp ui.. also I am using android tv via airtel setup box.. I prefer webos over android for now as it's super crisp in lg tvs.. apple tv yet to expirenence..
