Watch it and enjoy. I thoroughly did. I wish they'd keep the camera still at times.

Unfortunately SQ during broadbcast from STB is horribly bad. The HD version on Youtube is excellent though..

Coke Studio is playing at the Hard Rock Cafe on Aug 18th (or 19th) in Bangalore.

Finally recieved the coke studio boxed set CDs after a wait of more than 1 month. Its a 3 CD set with performances by Shankar Mahadevan,kailash kher,Wadali Brothers,etc

The levels of various instruments are messed up , resulting in a bad mix. Noises can be heard at some places (which might be due to wireless mics,etc) but overall the sound quality is disappointing.The soundstage and imaging are impressive and gives you a FEEL of live performance.

Overall apart from a few performances Coke Studio India unfortunately sucks..
Performances , Recording quality,Production are all of the lowest order.
Some of the "remixes" would make the original singers turn in there graves..
