DIY Shielded IEC Power Cord

Though i got the Power outlet wall Panels and Power Receptacle Sockets long back, i was waiting for the Bottom box which i recd yesterday.
Have to assemble them and check.
Along with these i will be doing couple power cables for which i have all the parts.
One with 17 dia mm cable and the other Lapp Olflex Classic 110 CY 3 core 2.5 sq.mm cable which i got from Mahesh (mpw).

Nice :)
It seems that the IEC plugs are round pins Europe style but the box switch plates are more of US style flat pins. Are they compatible both?

Nice. I was searching for a box like this for the same purpose. Could you please share where you bought it from?

You can safely use 120/125 volt receptacle with 220/240 volts going to it... the voltage is twice as high and that makes the operating current twice as high...

...

125V x 16A rating will carry 1875 Watts. The next bigger US connector is rated for 20A and therefore is safe for 125x20 Watts = 2500 Watts.

In India, connectors are either 6A or 16A, so 6x230=1380W and 16x230=3680W.

There's no "twice as high".

Wow looks absolutely amazing.

Thanks Shobit!

Looks quite neat, the connectors are quite impressive.
Is it Siltech Copy Cable from AliExpress?
Doc, they are heavy duty connectors which can accommodate 19mm cable.
These are the links:

This Wall receptacle works pretty well, I've used EMI filter and Star Wiring for my direct Line.
Wall Receptacle

This Look like the Siltech Copy Cable, highly resolving but brighter.
Try the McIntosh green cable, it has yielded the best results in my setup.
Also Medical Grade Copper Connectors and still better are Rhodium Plated ones.

Rhodium and Copper Connector

Solid Rhodium is corrosion proof. Gold plating deteriorates with time or times of using (Furutech recommends periodically disconnecting and reconnecting Gold-plated connectors with all components turned off, of course)
Solid Silver is the best conductor or even silver plated termination may perform better than both Rhodium or Gold due to the best conductivity.
For sure, the whole subject is extremely subjective, and experimentation is definitely the key to finding what's best for a given system and listener.

Finished the power receptacle socket box, the assembly was super simple.
The plugs glide smoothly into the receptacle and the grip is snug.

Brown for Hot wire
Blue for Neutral
Green with tracer for Earth (crimped eye lugs)

Did You Wire it in Parallel that is Star Config?
Or in Series?
Your craftsmanship is amazing, especially the power cables look quite professional, pure art!

Thanks Doctor,
the wiring is in series.

This is the last cable i finished today, end of... trying out McIntosh green cable per your suggestion... :)
