Hi all,

I have just bought a Marantz SR 7013. I have a powered sub Electrovoice ZXA1-SUB with me. It only has XLR input on the sub. Can anybody guide me if I can run this sub through the AVR directly or would a mixer be required?

The picture of the backside of the sub is attached along for reference.

Thanks in advance
Manuj

Get an RCA to XLR cable. It may just work out.
Cheers,

Even the earlier models of JTR and Seaton subwoofers had just XLR inputs and those subs also worked perfectly with XLR to RCA adapters. Mark even used to provide the XLR to RCA adapter with his subs.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
