False Ceiling material for speakers.

Hi everyone,

Need some guidance for false ceiling, which is better for inceiling speakers, Pop or gypsum is better?
I am new to this as always had wall mounted height speakers. What material you guys use/recommend for ceilings if in ceiling speakers need to be installed?

I used Acoustic ceiling tiles from Anutone. PoP might make it difficult to modify but if you go that route, then plan for 4 ceiling speakers and do all the wiring even if you dont use it. Also, not sure if POP will hold speakers, check that.

If its a dedicated room build a grid and use acoustic tiles or gypsum tiles and you can choose to fill the gap with rockwool or any other absorbent.
