Google Shopping Festival

Google Shopping Festival has started for 3 days from 11th Dec to 13th Dec. Last year it was there for only 1 day. Almost all online shopping portals are participating. As this discount sale in India was said to be in line with the cyber Monday sale in USA following the thanks giving day holidays but the discount provided here by the shopping sites are nothing and not even comparable to any decent discount sale that the US shopping sites had done. Most of the item price have been inflated before the discount started and some of the items have been withdrawn which I am sure would surface back once the so called discount sale is over. Anyway it was a good initiative by Google and hope the real discount would be provided by the online shopping sites in the coming years.

Barring a few, too many of the sites participating are quite bad. While flipkart and even ebay are decent, Snapdeal is really bad - best to only use cash on delivery with them. Things like Tradus are best avoided

Check amazon, they have 2-3 good deals for 1tb & 2tb external hard drive.

Only Amazon.in has some good deals when compared price wise from other online shops. I think Amazon gave their best discount during Diwali. Sony Xperia M cost was around 10800 during Diwali but now the same cost around 11,290 during this google shopping festival.

Infibeam also has some good discounts , all media has an additional discount of 15 % , and of course jabong.com has an additional discount of 36 %

This GOSF bought a laptop and they delivered it next day!!!

Bought couple of shoes from Jabong and got it delivered next day. However many high priced shoes (like timberland) were taken off during GOSF.
