GR Research N3 Speakers and Servo Sub Build

Captain - I used 6mm thick and 17 mm wide MDF strips. If you use wood panels on top of MDF, would they not expand differently with varying humidity causing problems?
Sorry for replying late. Missed it somehow.

If you use thin enough wooden planks (2-3mm) then it should not have such problems IMO

did you buy the inductor or built them. i have been trying to build some inductor for my crossover and need some help.

I'm not OP but since I was involved in getting the kits, I know of his build. The OP has purchased full kits which included crossovers. For making inductors, our FM T.Anthony has found a ingenious and inexpensive way which he has elaborated in one of his threads. You may search for the thread on the DIY section of this forum. You may also ping him for further details.

AFAIK, both of them were asking for your review on N3s.:)

I'm not impressed with that.:indifferent14:

I expect your review to be of your usual standard. ;):ohyeah::cool:

Bro, I've not heard the N3's for very long & hence did not write a proper review on them. Will request Surrealstix to allow me a couple of hours listening session of them to do the needful :D

Good idea; the extended session could probably include a few rounds of Beer if not Scotch.:licklips:

Taken up my subwoofer build and finished the inner box. Reading up the previous builds here and elsewhere.

@Surrealistix, did you get the bolts to fix the driver to the box along with the kit?

I think I got wood screws along with the kit. It's been a while, so not really sure. I listen to music for hours using this subwoofer everyday. Very happy with it.:)
