Home Theatre Bundle under 1Lakh

Hello,
I am looking for a home theater bundle. I am not an audiophile but need a 5.1 system to go in my living room (size is 14ft by 16ft). Budget is about 1 lakh, the lesser the better .
Usage will be 90% Blu Ray movies and 10% music. Already have a htpc which is used to play movies.
Would love to have a separate subwoofer though. From what I got from researching online is that home theater bundles usually lack a good subwoofer.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

P.s. already have a 2.1 system, looking for an upgrade.

Can u plz elaborate on 2.1 system u have?

Also, do u already have a receiver or 1 lac budget is for receiver + 5.1?

If u already have 2.1, do u just need centre and surrounds or would u create a 5.1 all over again?

So the 2.1 is basically nothing. It is a 2.1 speaker system designed to be used with PCs.
The 1 lakh budget is for 5 speakers + 1 sub + 1 receiver.

Consider getting a 5.1.2 (Atmos / Dts X) capable AVR.. Complete the 5.1 set-up now and look to add heights/ceiling speakers in near future for a great HT experience..

Usage will be 90% Blu Ray movies and 10% music.

Conisder Taga Platinum series to finish at-least 5.1 set-up within /slightly more than your budget..

@achaudhary997 Hi coming from another newbie - can I suggest something else? The quality of PC speakers and the ones you re planning to buy have a huge difference. I would say start with a 2.1 system and a receiver. Say a budget AVR (Yamaha/Denon) around 40K, a woofer around 30 K and a pair of book shelf around 30k. Of course depending on what you actually buy the budget could vary on each component within your 1 L range.

On a small sized room such as yours this should be enough to make you happy. Also, since you will be buying quality products you can add the surrounds etc... at some point in the future based on your requirements.
