How to turn off Dolby Vision on Netflix

Recently got a Philips 4K 50”. Everything looks great but the Dolby Vision option which sometimes turns on automatically on few Netflix series is a big letdown (eg Narcos )
A quick google search is not helping me turning the damn thing off.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

I don't think you can turn it off manually. It activates automatically if the devices down the line can decode Dolby Vision Metadata.

The only way out is to subscribe to a regular plan, looks like you need an Ultra HD plan for Dolby Vision.

Does it happen with all titles on Netflix that are DV? Or only occasionally?

It turns on for few Netflix series which have Dolby Vision feature - Narcos is an example. There must be several others.
It’s not there on Breaking Bad and that looks fantastic on my TV.
I dislike any kind of overt HDR post process in video hence I would like this feature to remain off in Netflix.

Yeah looks like that's the only way to disable Dolby Vision for now. But you will also lose the 4K streaming.

On my sony I have an option to turn HDR off by switchinh from Auto to Off under Picture settings.
