Do note that this manual is not applicable for PK550R which is the model available in India.

What's the difference between the US model PK550 and the Indian model PK550R ? And it's weird that the PK550R still has not been updated on the LG India website even though the model is widely available across the country and so many have already bought it.

The US model is different than the European which in turn is different than that of Indian. The European model seems to be with most features and THX certified. I shall post the Indian manual in case it is helpful for potential buyers.
