I am currently looking for 5.1 hometheater or speakers around 5K?

Hometheater/Speakers - Anything would be fine by me..

I thought of buying creative T6100.. its coming around 4K..

Pls suggest..

Edifier is a better brand. The creative should also serve your purpose well.

What is your listening room size ,tv size, preferred movies genre? Do you like it loud?

Here are my spec:

listening room size = living room 16 x 16 feet

tv size = 32" sony LCD - i dont mind that 5.1 not having remote since i can control that in my TV.

my preferrence is mostly movies/music..

I would like to hear it with good bass effect. I thought creative will fullfill my purpose.. cuz i had a creative 2.1 in my home.. It has a very good bass effect..

I am looking for your suggestions..

IMHO, these are all multimedia speakers! Philips caters well to this segment, try this out!

You really need a amp/receiver and speakers when you refer the terminology "hometheatre"
