From the list I would go for Sonodyne Genie 1 or Mordaunt Short Alumini 2.

You may want to go for Polk TSx 100B if you like big sound.

You can also consider Sonodyne Sonus range of speakers as they are also within your budget...

I have sonodyne BS and centre and they perfectly falls within your budget. I have been using them with Yamaha 373 and quite satisfied with performance (both movies and music).

what model do you have. also can i go for 2*Genie 1 and Genie 2Cv2 for Centre. Will that be a problem in getting a uniform sounstage effect

You must, and I mean must go for Sonodyne Sonus 1501 bookshelves over the genie series (1 or 2). I am biased because they are so much better in performance for music, and will do a nice job with movies too. You will not regret it.
You must have been to Sonodyne listening rooms I believe. What you hear in their listening rooms is shambolic and does not do justice to the actual speakers. Add to that the fact that a lot of the times their demo/sales reps are not even willing to explain features, provide a proper demonstration or are simply not knowledgeable enough. I demoed their setup of Denon and Genie, I could tell immediately that the system is not calibrated properly and the performance is not optimal.
I personally have a Yamaha 373 with the 1501 pair as fronts and they do an admirable job, mind you your source of the movie will matter a lot.
If you do go for Sonodynes then you must consider 1501 than the Genie series. For other brands I can not comment as I do not have any experience with those models.

I have an entry level amp (Yamaha HTR 2064) which states it can deliver 100W/channel @1 KHz , 6 ohm ,

I am worried if I will be able to drive the sonodyne sonus with 86db sensitivity and 80W rms. Kindly suggest if the amp will be good enough to drive the speakers.

Also if somebody can throw some light on what does a speaker rated 4-8ohm impedance mean. Will it work with any amp.

Yamaha HTR 2064 should drive the Sonus 1501 easily..... Better if you can take your AVR to the listening room, check the compatibility... Which i think it will....

a speaker rated @ 4 - 8 Ohm that the impedance varies & dips to as low as 4 Ohm's...

I think you should have found that specification @ the back of the AVR near speaker connector...If so that has nothing to do with the speaker & juz telling what the AVR is capable of...

Actually I saw this rating in some speaker specification. The YAMAHA AVR clearly states to use speaker with impedance higher than 6 ohm. However I saw in the forum some FM using Cambridge S30 speakers which is again rated at 4-8 ohms. That is where I am a bit confused

Again today visited the Sonodyne listening room at Mani's square. Auditioned both Genie 1 and Genie 2 . Genie 1 sounded well with vocals but not great with movies . Also seemed that the mids and the high frequency were not natural and bit high (I asked the showrrom guy to put the subwoofer off). Next was Genie 2 which was OK with movies but sounded dull with music. I was using the same source to ensure that I am unable to figure out the difference. Next I moved to Sonus 1501. To my surprise the entire team at the showroom failed to demonstrate the Sonus 1501. First the stereo amp was not working , next there was some loose connection and finally only one of the speaker was working.......Had no other option but to come back. However had high hopes on Genie 1 which is no better that the stock Yamaha speaker(infact I feel the stock are better) . Will go another day and check out the Sonus.

Meanwhile has any FM has auditioned JBL Control 1 . Also please reccomend any small bookshelf speakers within 10K and also if I can find them in Kolkata

Don't think you will get any bs for 10K, but Polk TSX110B is 14K, almost similar to the price of sonus bs.
