New 21:9 TV!!!

Here in the Middle East, I saw for the first time a 21:9 TV resembling the movie theatre screen on a whole. It is a Philips 54" LCD and looks amazing. Philips have bundled all sorts of technologies into this, including HDTV, PixelPlus-3, etc etc. It looks gorgeous and the picture is amazing with this aspect ratio.
It costs around US$5,000.
I wonder whether they have come out with this model in India.
To me, it looks like the next generation TV with the thin sleek rectangular screen.

Yup it is in India from quite some time now. I dont remember but I actually saw that one quite some time back.

Why no retailer is "dare"to display this model???
Even 103 " pana plasma @ Rs 25-26 L ot display space in Mumbai?
Due to (-ve) faith in brand?
