for 50k you can get some really good speakers, why look at yamaha and JBL. You should be looking at wharfedale, mordaunt short, monitor audio, mission, tannoy, polk audio, Jamo c series, etc............these are some of the really good names in speakers.

Have a proper demo and then decide.

Regards

CD Player. Marantz cd6003. Will play Mp3 and has Usb connection. Cost 20k.
If you are open to book shelves,
In remaining 30k, spend 8k on stands ,18k on Wharf10.2 . Spend 1k on interconnects.

If floor stands are must, Jamo c405 around 35k.
JBL Studio series is not that great but towers for 20k.

If your budget is only for speakers, JBL ES80 for 45k.
I hope your room is 16X16 or larger when you are considering floor stand speakers.

Bookshelves with good speaker stands will give excellent results if your room is any smaller.
Carry your amp for auditions if possible. Sony is known for boomy sound. (exaggerated around 100hz to give a feel of good bass but it does not feel tight or thumping)
