Ordered TataSky HD Today

Hi,

After lots of thread studies, forums visit, finally plunged into and ordered TataSky HD.

TataSky people told that within 4 days they will do the installation and deliver STB.

I hope the viewing experience will be better in comparison to my existing Cable Wala.

I'll post my review on TataSky performance once it gets installed alongwith Photos.

Good choice...you wont be disappointed. Excepting for the nagging chinese subtitles in NatGeo HD. Recommend you lodge a complaint in the MyQuery section of the TataSky website, after you get your stb installed. And make sure they dont close the ticket. They did that once to me, I lodged a new complaint and warned them not to close the service ticket before the problem was rectified.

This is why I have not gotten around to getting TataSky, they are too darned slow. The others installed and activated within hrs of placing an order but TataSky wants atleast 2-3 days.

I too booked TS HD Box today over phone. Didnt get any offer. Its 2599 as usual.

There is no offer as of now with TataSky HD, so I opted for 1 Yr. Mega pack for 4800 which includes Subscription for 1 year + 1 Yr. Subscription of Business Standard Magazine.

As I mentioned above that the TataSky guy told me that they will do all the work within 3-4 days but to my surprise, by the time I finished creating the thread, Person from TataSky Called up for Installation and by 5 p.m. today, they have finished installation and activation of my STB.

Till date I've not seen even a single company who acts so fast to satisfy their customer and give them surprises like this.

Sorry, could not take pictures when the guy was doing installation.

Tomorrow I'll check on NatGeo HD and then log complaint if Chienese Subtitles are there.

Hi friends,

After viewing the DTH Reception, I found that PQ is not better than than the local Cable Guys what I feel. May be my TV and STB needs some adjustments.

Can anyone help in having correct settings for STB and also for my Sony EX500.
