Philips 47PFL3403 - A good buy?

I recently saw this Philips 47" LCD TV, 47PFL3403, in Modern World for 55k. It looks great on paper but the problem is that it's only HD Ready. Is it a good buy? My viewing distance is 10-12 feet. And I plan to use it mostly for watching HD content (both 720p and 1080p).

Since it is hd ready the set can be capable of accepting HD signals may not be able to display at full resolution 1920x1080p. Just check.

I didn't understand your point but this TV can display only 720p though it can accept 1080p input.

Yep , thats what I meant it can accept 1080p and display only 720p. But the price looks :licklips:
