My current system
DAC: Denafrips Ares II
Integrated Amp: Naim Nait 5si
Speaker: Wharfedale Evo 4.2

I am thinking about to replace Naim Nait 5si with better Pre-Power Amp.

What options I am thinking about ?
  • AP Swara Tube preamp + Naim Nait 5si as Power Amp
  • AP Swara Tube preamp + O&B SS2150
  • AP Swara Tube preamp + Crown XLS2502
Another thought I am having is wait for l3 to 4 years, replace entire system DAC, Separate and Speakers.

Option 1 is like adding a tube buffer since Naim 5si has a very basic preamplifier AFAIK. Maybe you could try with a tube buffer first

I have fx-audio tube-01 with 5654w tube, will try it out. Early it didn't workout well(causing hum) in my system.
Following queries I have regarding it's usage.
  • Time required for burn-in ?
  • Volume on tube-01, what's recommended position ?
    • In past I tried using around 10 o'clock position.
