What kind of material? I have put a cotton cloth folded 4 times over and then placed it between the ribbon module and the bass section... But want a tidier option. Would a 1 inch thick cork sheet do it?

Should be available in shops that sell furnishing and sofa repair materials. Usually every city has a market full of such shops. In Delhi, it is near Panchkuan Road or there abouts. Don't know about your place.

How about a decorative door mat with rubber base and textile material on the top that are available at the stores from Rs.25/- onwards to begin with. You can later replace with a more expensive one after its finalized. Rubber will help grip the base of the TL bass section well and the textile material along with the rubber base will isolate quite well. You can try this right away as you would be having a couple of them at your home.

Yes, cork should be better, IMO too .... 'Natuuraal' too ...

Cork is susceptible to nibbling by young prying fingers and even ignorant older fingers too (read maid servant) Neoprene would fare better.

Added a Wyred4Sound DAC 2 to the chain, with a Dell Laptop with 3GB RAM. Reformatted the lappie to have only the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit software, Mozilla browser, Microsoft office and the Jriver Media Centre.

Playing through the USB 2 port, and added an external 2 TB seagate HDD, on a USB 1 port... loving the sound!
