Hi all, just found it on YouTube. i downloaded RPM calculator from Google Play store, amazing it works  I just checked with this app and it stayed right on 33.2 reading on platter without fluctuation. But stationary reading shows .2, not 0 that means calibration is correct. I guess my table is working perfectly :) i will upload the pictures tomorrow.

Check this amazing video on youtube.

I have tried it long back. Like your observation it shows some reading even when stationary so I thought it has inherent error, and stopped using it.

It works...mine shows a difference of 0.1 on either side of the set RPM. I hope its acceptable for the old work horse Garrad GT-35P.

Unless the mobile phone has the same weight like a record the platter will spin faster again when the phone is removed. Also stylus drag can not be taken into account by this app. Only the platter speed app by Dr. Feickert Analogue does work accurately I presume. Have got very good results with that app.
