Speakers got submerged in water

I have a hometheater setup in the basement. Due to heavy rains in Bhopal my theater got half submerged in water through the night. My Monitor Tower speakers got half submerged while the sub woofer got fully submerged. So far i have kept them for drying in the room under a fan. Any hope of them surviving ? Any tip for salvaging them will be welcome. Thanks

Many have replied to clear the mess/mud and set it to dry. check online for more information. also ask the manufacturer for help. Wait for more replies on this forum.

Managed to keep my speakers above the waterline so can't help. Linuxguru offers very valuable equipment-recovery experience and advice in that thread.

I have a lot of sympathy for anyone, anywhere, who has had even part of their home flooded. It is a horrible experience.
