Regardless bias of liking the songs, (I have this album and like the songs) Tracy Chapman self titled album is an excellent recording example. Must have. https://soundbetter.com/profiles/117759-kevin-w-smith

Not too many would remember (or even know) Nile Rogers. He was the man behind the creation of many of the 70s, 80s and 90s big hits with the disco bands and big singing stars.
Please check out Nile Rodger's work with Daft Punk on their album Random Access Memory (he played guitar on a couple of tracks), and also with Sam Smith on the track Together. His wonderful funk guitar touch is still intact (he's now in his mid 60s). He even has his own signature Fender Stratocaster guitar. His guitaring style is flashy yet subdued. Very classy.
Easily my favorite Eagles album. Everyone and his dog has heard and owns Hotel California, take a listen to Bitter Creek on this album and you'll hear what I mean
A rediscovery of FMac early years spanning the exit of Peter Green, Christine Perfect/McVie finding her feet and until before Buckingham-Nicks arrived...gems each and every one! Evolution of the band from Blues to popular Rock on vinyl.
