Hi All
I am considering getting Wharfedale Diamond 220 Bookshelf speaker. My only concern is how am I suppose to wall mount the speakers?
Any suggestions
I checked for some wall mounts / brackets on amazon and ebay
E.g.
https://www.amazon.in/VideoSecu-Cla...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2VKVRA5XDP549KJFKNFH

Are this types of mounts suitable? Would the clamps block the Slot-loaded ports
See this is what I am talking about

Would blocking the slots a little bit from both sides affect the performance of the speakers?
Any other option to wall mount the speakers? Like a custom wooden stand etc?
Kind regards

I am using a custom made bracket, it’s heavy and no vibration even in high volume.

Get a pair of 14 inch portable TV stand for abt Rs 500/- each from your local electronics store.. The speakers would comfortably be seated on the plate.. And you also get the option to tilt & turn them..

Thanks for the suggestions
I want something to secure the speakers so that they dont fall.. I have a kid who keeps playing ball in the house :(..and I dont want the speakers to fall when the ball hits the speakers .. would blocking the slot port create issues,,,, if that is not the case then I can get a wooden stand made with some clamp etc in the side to secure it

Hi

My neighbour uses the TV stands to place Bookshelf speakers......these speakers have rubber feet so they dont slip from the metal stand. Secondly, there is a belt available to tie the TV securely....similarly the speaker can be tied securely.

thanks.. I was also thinking of using a belt. I will check locally.. what are your views about clamping the speaker which may block the slot ports a little bit.. would it affect performance. I need further suggestions for matching SUB, cables etc. I will open separate threads for each..
regards

Also a very basic question? Can I keep my Tatasky box on the subwoofer :). Or would it vibrate? Or is it not advisable to keep anything on the sub

Don't keep anything on the subwoofer......it spoils the look and secondly...whatever you keep ...depending on volume output will vibrate and fall down...

Hi IAjay,

Finally which stand did you purchase? I am also looking for one which allows tilting the speaker and which is safe and secure so that speaker does not fall down.

Regards,
Amit.
