I have read 100's of people suggesting amazon.de but sadly whatever electronic item (mostly receivers) I add always comes up as cannot be shipped to my address. Is there a trick or tip that I should keep in mind?

Hmm in the options on the left hand menu list there is an option to only show the ones that can be shipped internationally... It's called amazon global eligible or something like that... Click on it & only the options that can be shipped to India will be shown...
PS the golden period of ordering from amazon.de is over as they have remove the fixed shipping charge... Until a few months ago you could literally order 4-5 big items and just be charged fixed 40 in shipping charge...

Thanks got it. Yeah I read that part too, but wanted to see for myself,
