Hi Guys Planning to buy AVR and have decided Onkyo. The new Model TX-Nr818 has arrived in India. Can anyone give me the best price where it is available - Chennai, Bangalore or Hyderabad. How about TX-NR809 the older model, are there any good deals for this old Model . Please give me dealer details where i can buy in any of the above places. How about Prices in Dubai?

Hi Dunston you seem to have got a good deal on Onkyo 5010 in chennai. I am plannning to buy Onkyo 818. Please give the details of the dealer. What is the best price i can vet for 818. MRP IS 95000. Thanks

Hi Flash, the delivery was delayed by the company and im yet to have it, once i get it will post more details and picts along with it. i was told it will be delivered within 20th of this month :D

Hi Sushiv i ordered from Prodigi from Chennai they deal with onkyo, Elac speakers, Energy Speakers. I had a better deal because of personal reasons i do not wish to discuss in forums. They only deal items with bill not grey market. My ordered is been delayed to 20th.You can check with them for deals i posted link below.

I got the following quotes from Yamaha Kolkata today for their latest 73 range of AVR:

RX 373- 28500
RX 473- 36000
RX 573- 46000

how is the value proposition of these models vise versa say denon 1513/1713?
 
though i have posted in another thread as well, but since this is specific to AVR price, i bought denon 2113 @ 42K with B&W in Delhi.

Hi, the price for your onkyo 5010 receiver is very impressive. You have got 20% discount from its actual mrp. You said that you got this 20% discount just for you. What discount can we expect for onkyo from Prodigi?
I am thinking about the 1010 or the 3010 model, so I would like to know the discount that I can get. Has the onkyo 1010 arrived in India? Hope this is the best price in Chennai for Onkyo. Previously (few years ago), there was a shop called Hamsaveni Electronics in Alwarpet, who used to sell the Onkyo products at much cheap price, but the shop was shut an year ago.
I wonder what would be the street price of the Marantz 8801, can someone help with it. In this store "http://www.ivoryedge.com/Prodct.aspx?id=seg100003/segcat100005/segsbct100191&nme=Entertainment%20/%20Home%20Audio%20Components%20/Preamp/Processor", they have quoted Rs.183000 and MRP-Rs.200000.
The denon 4520 was quoted approximately at MRP-Rs.240000 by Profx. The funny part is marantz 8801 retails for $3600 and Denon 4520 retails for $2500 in US.

So, they have fixed the price at Rs.197K. The last when I enquired (a month or 2 before you got the quote) they just predicted the price to be around Rs.240K.
It is still very strange that Denon 4520, which is $2500, sells here for Rs.197K and Marants 8801, which is $3600, sells here for lesser money Rs.183K, and they are both owned by D&M Holdings.

That is a great price. I believe 160k is the list price for the 3010.

I think the price for the Marantz does not include import duties and other taxes.

I am looking at buying Denon AVR 1713. I am based out of Bangalore.

Please let me know the best price for this in Bangalore.

Also will be thankful if you could give lessor priced alternatives to above model.
