I have been keenly watching your marantz cd6003 group buy initiative, even though I was not interested in buying one. I think the problem was with the number of minimum purchase. Coming to AVR, even without a group buy offer, the denon 1611 price you posted seems very attractive. I'm thinking about buying an AVR within one or two months. If I can't get it for the price mentioned by you here, I will definitely ask your help for one, if you don't mind.

Well Denon new series can decode HD flac which is used to rip Blurays for bitperfect option.Denon 1912 lacks video upscaling though.
Yamaha has cut of most wanted features than 667.
Denon 1912 sound is appreciated by cnet than last yrs 1911.

I have been offered the Yamaha RX-V667 for 29.5 k in Mumbai on a group buy condition. Anyone interested? Oh and one can also opt for the Yamaha RX-V671 in this group buy though I havent still asked abt the latter's price.

Even I am interested for that price for RX-V671, I was inquiring about the 2011 model at an authorised Yamaha showroom in Bangalore, he said it should be available in the first week of August!
