I'm Planning to get onkyo-tx-nr626 from US, My fried will be getting it from there next month ? Can I order a 220V versions of this Amp from US ?

Will there be a Custom Duty on this equipment which is worth 500 USD , and how much will be that

If you dont need analog connection,you can go for pioneer bdp450 which can be made regionfree easily.ebay India has good price of 10k.

Check out post 42 of maheshtr from Chennai who got a region free Pioneer 450 for Rs 16,000 with warranty.

Denon you can demo at Pro Fx (Barton centre, MG Road), Marantz 1504, I think you will have to do some searching for the product and if it is also available for demo, you may try the home theater store in JP Nagar.
