Benq W1700 or Benq TK800M or Epson TW9400 or Sony VPL45ES - which one to buy?

Hi all,

Am new to the world of AV.
Planning to set up a HT for the first time.


Room : Dedicated Home Theatre room with dimensions of 11.7 feet X 23.45 feet - the room will be completely darkened mostly
Content to be watched : (max 2 hrs per day) mostly movies - streamed or downloaded content

Projector : Benq W1700 or Benq TK800M or Epson TW9400 or Sony VPL45ES
(am more of a videophile - love deep blacks)

Which one would u recommend? - would not be changing the projector at least for 5 years+

Epson 9400 is the best as far as 4k amongst the above

In comparison to Epson, benq any take on Casio projectors XJ-V1/V2 or even XJ-V100 or at similar budget.

Hey Guys, this is what I was looking for as I am also in same boat for 4K projector. I am leaning towards Benq2700. What you do you guys say about it?

Better try Benq W 2700. Benq TK800M does not have HDR feature.

Just need to have opinion and advice as got Casio recommended by few outside this forum and hence need to know from here from experienced people, budget would be max 80k and would be for cinematic and daily purpose

i received Benq W 2700 yesterday. I am not at home now. Will share experience after I returned home. TK 800M has no HDR.

Casio projector is meant for presentations etc. They have different aspect ratio..
And don't expect clarity like a dedicated HT projector.

I had Benq tk800 with 133inch image. It's awesome projector & had HDR.

It supports hdr10 clearly mentioned on website also.

Even I'm in dilemma whether to go for Benq or Epson.
