First things first.....If you did not "hear" anything great that's worth the extra investment you need not invest. We all have unconditional love for these hifi equipments but money should be spent wisely. Do not be in a hurry in taking any decision and take as many auditions as you can and always go by your ears and not just by the reviews.
Lets consider 50k budget for now. As suggested by many here you have few good BS like Dali Zensor 3, Wharfedale 225 and Elac B6 etc. All are priced under 30k. If you're looking at FS you can consider a pair of Pioneer FS52, even these are priced under 30k and you simply cannot go wrong with them. I have them and i love them to the core.
You can get a decent AVR for around 30-35k. You can also look at pre-owned AVRs, you may get a good one for under 20k.
Later you can add rears and center when the budget permits.
Audition as much as you can, be patient and look for good deals, when you get it just grab it.
