My journey into the world of music started off with pop / disco of the 80s ..Slowly, moved to soft rock . A bit of local (telugu) was also thrown in along the way ..Later on, started listening to Carnatic Instrumental ...So my journey has taken me through a lot of genres ..Have enjoyed the journey ...

Recently, I started out on the quest of a good hi-fi system..Next question was what would I listen ? I did not have many good material ..Mostly my collection was mp3 ..So when I started making a collection of good music, my reach extended to hitherto unheard genres ..Like Jazz ..And then to Movie Soundtracks ..

Some of the good soundtracks I have enjoyed :
1) Sweet Home Alabama
2) Vicky Cristina Barcelona
3) City of Angels
4) Brave Heart
5) The Double life of Veronique.

The last one especially is still ringing in my ears. To those who may not know, The Double life of Veronique is a french movie directed by the very famous Krzysztof Kieslowski . Kieslowski uses the visuals and music to create an ethereal experience. The soundtrack is classical, haunting and something which gave me goosebumps when I was seeing in the movie.

Requesting others to contribute .
