Free to air ( FT A) channels in Airtel DTH

Is it possible to view FTA channels in Airtel DTH Service ? Has anyone tried scanning and viewing them ? When I was trying to scan for FTA channels from other satellites , I got message that Recording will be disabled . By the way my STB is SD with recording facility . I will be thankful for some information on this from our forum members . Thanks in advance .
