Christopher Waltz deserves even more awards for his subtle, yet powerful portrayal of a crazy Nazi in Inglorious Basterds.

He was entirely unpredictable all through the movie - except for the last scene where the director in a shameful knee-bending gesture to Hollywood makes sure all attention is focussed on Brad Pitt. Even then, I expected something better from Christopher Waltz than empty recriminations. Not convincing. Just the last scene.

Other than that, he was stellar. I looked forward to his scenes more than anything else.
