long time since ive seen so much angst in a thread NOT involving cables
speakers are so different sounding that it is natural to "agree to disagree" especially if you bring the ancilliary equipment and room/setup into play...

i have no way of verifying whether he truly has hands on experience or not and i am not in a position to judge this. He offerred his opinion. You are free to say that it is inaccurate. You are not free to call him a liar.

Nope, I don't think so. But that's my opinion, I don't know the facts, and I sure as hell have no right to call him a liar.

I ask this. Why are you taking exception to my calling him (and others) out for these misrepresentions and myths, but you ignore the intial negative broad, all encompassing generalizational comments being perpetuated; without people who have no legitimate qualifications to make such comments?

It is 'misrepresentation' when someone knows a fact and knowingly represents something contrary to the fact. To state an opinion, however uninformed or ill-founded is not misrepresentation. Even if I concede that the members are not qualified to comment on the speakers, making unqualified comments on speakers is a fairly minor offence compared to calling someone a liar.

Why are you and several others so focused on ignoring the specifics of my repeatidly stated points and counter-arguments, in favor of what you want the argument to be about?

I have absolutely no stakes in this argument. I don't know about these speakers. Haven't heard them. Have no plans to. I do take exception to your rude behaviour and name-calling.

As you will observe, i've responded directly to all your queries. No spinning. To reiterate my main point. Saying that you disagree with someone's opinion or that you don't think that person is qualified to opine on something is acceptable. Calling someone a liar and dishonest is not. I had a Jamo E855 once upon a time. This was sold to someone in through this forum. My personal experience is that the new C6xx .....

The older D series and the higher end of the E series (E7//E8) were nice musical speakers though not the last word in detail. The current ones are pretty crappy in just about everything. I have an older E855 but I'd not buy any of the newer ones.

So let's see if we can get this straight. Firstly, right in the beginning of this thread, Reighofchoas perpetuates negative, broad, all encompassing generalizational comments aboutn all Jamo's current speaker series and models.

When challenged and pressed for him to qualify and validate his comments.

We find out that Reighofchaos has some limited and brief experience with only and exactly two of Jamo's current speaker models; the C605 and C803.

Does two speaker models equate to all of the Jamo speaker series and models? Oh I think not.

Is Reignofchoas under the impression that he HAS heard all of Jamo's speaker series and models? No, he is not.

He's quite aware of his lack of hands-on experience with them. Reighofcaos knows two models do not equal all of Jamo's series and models. yet, he made the comments. That's lying.

I rest my case.

I don't think this thread should be dumped. I see no reason for it.

There's plenty of information in here that is helpful. Unfortuntely, the firs eight posts of this thread are about as useless and inaccurate as it gets.

As well as several posts sprinkled through out the thread. But even those useless posts, are a lesson in being cautious of people's generalizations.
