I know what you mean,i was considering a c805hcs (as they seem to be fair value at mo). & c80 or bk sub,but i had a long hard look at my situation ie:current power of av amp, size of my room, acoustics etc.My dealer who also sells about 100 other brands knew i was fond of the c805 jamos. But he suggested i maybe come down a peg or two and consider the c607/605 hcs & sub650 due to my room size and equipment. So i am expecting to collect either c607/605 set with sub650 in next couple of days.I CANT WAIT:yahooS,B my dealer also told me if it comes to the 605s i'd be hard pressed to detect a big difference to 607s due to the sub in the set-up.But he did say the c607 vs c605 on 2 ch alone there would be a distinct difference.

Yeah, I agree with that.
The C607 will be a big benefit in two channel stereo.
A lot depends on your listening habits and what kind of material you will be listening to. If you listen to a lot of music and watch a lot of movies....and you're going to be using an Audio/Video Receiver or Processor; then, I think the C605 will be your best bet. If you're going to have one or two subwoofers, you could go with then C605.
But, if you think that you may want to get a two channel stereo preamp some time in the future, the C607 should be the one you get.
Another thing, if you listen to much more music than movies; the C607 would be better for you. This way, you wouldn't have to turn on the subwoofer when listening to just two channel music.
Ideally and if you can afford it, I would always suggest to get the best speaker you can afford.....and that would be the C607, in this scenario.
But consider the factors I mentioned above and decide what's best for you.
