Bhagwan,

Have you changed your cables as well?
Curious to know what cables are in the chain.

Regards.

Nice stuff Bhagwan... congrats!

Is it in the same league as the Canasya/Alnic combo?

what's the price point that the preamp is at? and the power? PM me if you don't want to discuss the price openly!

really keen to know!

Bhagwan, this is a bit off topic, and I'm not sure if this has been discussed earlier, but could you shed some light on the platforms the power amps have been placed on? I think you had them when you had the Canasyas in your system too.

Are those thick planks of wood, or multiple planks of wood stacked on each other/pasted together, or is there something else to them? I'm asking because I was thinking about how to place an amp that's coming in (in separate identical-looking units) on the floor.

Sir,
Thank you;
Nice BIG Pics.
Appreciate it.
I too was 'amazed' with the quantity of Bass;
Just hope that the same 'tightens' with time.
Could be classified as a bit 'bloated' to start with.
But, we heard it - just off the blocks - maybe 100 +
hours - 1st hurdle & then 500 + hours - it should be
100 % settled in - I hope...fingers crossed.

Sir,
Thank You;
Appreciate your kind wishes.
p.s. These products are made in P.R.C.
If they were made in Japan or Germany - then your statement would have been more appreciated - I guess...

I am not so sure - what to say...
This is audio gear that is made in P.R.C.
Besides, I was 'without' music for 3 ++ months.
My Current state - as on Monday - was like a man that has been fasting for 3 days & then is given some food.
I do not think I have the objectivity to judge & gauge the AM Hiend as of now.
Best is if you & other listen & decide for your self.
All are welcome home - after 1 month.

On the price front - what is to hide - google is your best friend.
Yet, just to make it easy - a few links...

The Pre is Priced @ xxxx/- Pounds
The Power is Priced @ xxxxx/- Pounds

120 Watts of SET Power - One of the Highest in the world ever possible.
I think - although I may be wrong.
Then again it is Chinese - so quality is never known...

I will try my best to put it down here;
Not that I do not want to share - but just that I had made these 4 + years back & I do not remember the details.
I know for a fact that this was written of by me in the other Listening Impressions Thread - but to find that is an uphill task.

Lower Part is Thermacole
The Shell is made of MDF / Marine Ply & Real Cherry Wood.
There is a sound absorber in the middle too - Texar or some other name.
Finally there automotive paint on it.

I have also use products from Sound Foundations - between the Power Amp & the Amplifier Stand.

I am working on a new stand - that will take 2 months to finish - if I get those - then I will have this for sale. Not important.

I do not want to start off the Cadence Canasya / AM Audio thing here;

But, in the same breath I want to say that the CC is a super amplifier.
I have owned it for 5 years & used it for 3 & was super happy with it.
Reliability / Performance / Sound etc.

I would stick my neck out & say that it is a great product @ super great price - specially in the used - 2nd hand market - there are 2 pairs that I know of & those are selling between 2/50 & 3/00 K & that is an impossible price to performance beater..

Just a lovely glow...

I saw somewhere here that the power amp section costs xxxxx pounds. Well, that's in excess of Rs.xxxxxxx inld customs!!!! Did I get the figure right? :p

It's a holy epic setup . .Amazing . . .

Thank You Gentlemen;
Appreciate the kind words.
Do bear in mind this gear is made in PRC & performance may or may not be at the same level as UK / German / French / USA Products.
Yes, 'fit & finish' are good.
Yet, the products are being burned in - may be a while before I can get it to perform to its full potential.
Lots of changes are enroute.

This is the stuff dreams are made of. Drool!!! Congratulations on the new electronics.

Thank You K.C.
Appreciate the gesture.
The main thing now is - how does it play ?
Is it good ?
Or just good looking CNC Work - as the Chinese are famous for;;
I tried to get a short cut ride - hope it does not back fire - what I wanted was the Wavac & what I have got is AM Hiend - Time will tell;

ogdg5h.jpg

But, the 833 Tube is really nice.
Looks Great & Plays OK - so far at least...
:licklips:
I truly hope it floats my boat.
