Need to Buy a Good Amplifier

I am Planning to buy Bose Accousmatic 5 Series III sound system for playing music and videos on my computer, need a good amplifier to support the above system.

or Suggest me a good Home Theater System with a good amplifier under Rs 40K.
My Previous System was Altec Lansing MX-5021 THX.

need better sound quality.

You can consider Denon 1312 and Polk Audio Speaker in that range. Go to any ProFx showroom and audition them.

Why did you consider "Bose"? Avoid Bose if possible, IMO.

I have a Bose AM5 but I dont like the sound of it,the highs are absent and the bass is too cut off, better go for 201 or even 301 if you want Bose.

For Computers its best to go for powered monitors like AudioEngine etc...or you can look for companion series from Bose but they are overpriced.......

get re-power kit of TA2020 fron helder hifi ebay.
just ask some one to join the wires

Bose started with a different concept and the speakers sounded good at that time.

i agree with the previous posters : given a choice between over priced / mediocre PC/Multimedia boxed speakers you would get far better sound quality with either a TA2020/TK2050 amp paired with bookshelf speakers
