My projector currently displays a grey screen with black lines even though it appears green in the attached picture. What I understood from my son, who was trying to use it last, was that when he tried to change the HDMI cable, his hand touched the power cord on the projector, and it came loose. He attached the power cord immediately, and then the projector started showing the screen like in the picture.
My projector is almost 10 years old. The lamp usage is around 2,000 hours.
I took out the projector lamp housing to see any visible signs of damage. I couldn't find any. Any idea what could have gone wrong?
